Join Andy as he bounds haphazardly through his own platform adventure, trying to work out which game is better: Super Mario World or Sonic the Hedgehog 2?
Super Mario World was first released in Japan on the 21st November 1990 for the Super Famicom (Super Nintendo). Several versions of this game exist, a tweaked version for the Super Nintendo that came packaged with Super Mario All-Stars, and a Gameboy Advance port. We will be talking exclusively about the original SNES launch version.
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 was released in Japan on 21st November 1992 for the Sega Genesis (Mega Drive). It was also released for the Master System and Game Gear. These 8 bit versions were notably different to the 16 bit release. We will be focusing on the 16 bit release.
This is another 1UP Pod release.
